 The vineyard is one of the most characteristic symbols of Mediterranean culture, and one of the identity values ​​of the Costa Dorada, both due to the great extension of its cultivation and the uniqueness of its landscapes and products. The Qualified Denomination of Origin Priorat  It has become one of the agricultural areas with the highest reputation in the production of high-end wines in Spain. But in Tarragona we find 5 other denominations with excellent wines: Montsant, Tarragona, Conca de Barbera, Terra Alta and Penedés.

We recommend taking a route through the wineries of the different denominations of origin, especially DO Tarragona, DO Priorat, and DO Montsant, due to their proximity. Most have visiting hours available to the public, or offer an appointment service.
