Measures taken for Covid-19. 

We have implemented a set of measures and protocols at the campsite to preserve health and guarantee the safety of our facilities, applying the highest level of eco-responsibility possible in all our practices.

We have the latest technology and equipment for cleaning with water vapor at 140ºC, disinfection by dry mist and purification of the ambient air in some facilities through UV class C.

Our commitment is that your stay is an experience outdoors and in contact with the land, trees and plants with maximum comfort and safety. The application of several of these social distancing measures and regulations could affect the availability of certain services or facilities.

The aim is to meet again this special season, with the whole family that has accompanied us these 50 years of camping, with our clients and friends so that they can enjoy the accommodation, facilities, nature and use the camping services without worries.

 

1.- Cleaning and disinfection protocols

The personnel in charge will follow the new cleaning protocols inspired by the practices of the Health Centers and recommended by the Government Authorities.

  • Cleaning of surfaces in common areas – Cleaning of the reception, toilets, bar, dining room and other common areas of the campsite will be carried out following procedures, products and frequency that are followed and used in medical centers.
  • Disinfection of accommodations and services – We use the most efficient technology and products on all surfaces, furniture and other items.
  • Sterilization of kitchens and utensils – Through cleaning products and practices following protocols used in Hospital Centers.

2.- Digital services

In order to minimize interaction and direct contact with other clients and employees, we make various technical solutions and new advanced digital applications available to camping clients.

  • Auto Check-in – Online service to carry out the check-in process with online payment prior to arrival and the allocation of the contracted accommodation, minimizing interaction with staff.
  • Camping App – With a map of the camping facilities, location of the accommodation, information on excursions, activities and digitization of the camping services, such as placing orders through the mobile phone for the products and a letter from the cafeteria – restaurant.
  • Online customer service – To communicate immediately with the camping staff, through the App or by direct phone.

3.- Social distancing rules

All protocols will be followed to facilitate social distance in the interaction of other people.

  • Safety signage – The need to respect the additional safety measures established by the Health Authorities in order to maintain physical distance and achieve protection for all, will be informed through various notices and specific posters in all common areas.
  • Reduction of capacity in facilities and common areas – We have limited the use of some facilities and the redesign of access to common areas to avoid crowds with new furniture distributions and organization of services following the new legislation, to help customers maintain social distance.
  • Information and support – The camping staff will help clients to follow the mandatory Health protocols and implement the security measures reported at the entrance of the services and in the common areas of the camping.

4.- Protocols and material for personal protection

We offer individual protection elements to all our clients, employees and suppliers during their stay and / or use of the facilities.

  • Safety and disinfection elements for clients – Access to gel disinfectant, mask and soap for hand washing.
  • Employee protection – The camping workers have the necessary material to carry out their work with all the sanitary guarantees.
  • Mandatory equipment for suppliers – Suppliers and external collaborators who access the campsite do so following the necessary security measures.

5.- Health and training for employees

For added safety, all of our personnel meet the health requirements for work.

  • Employee training – Employees have participated in informative sessions on the necessary procedures to protect other employees and customers, as well as specific training to apply safety protocols adapted to health regulations.
  • Daily self-monitoring – The camping staff undergoes checks before and after their workday.

6.- Review and update of the measures

The measures and protocols implemented will be monitored to periodically assess their evolution.

  • Monitoring and periodic review – We will review the effectiveness of the measures put in place and the necessary protocols will be adapted depending on the health situation, operational needs and applicable legislation.

General conditions of contracting and sale

1.- Introduction 
1.1.- The objective of these General Conditions of Contracting is to regulate the services of contracting and reservation of tourist accommodation products (camp site, bungalow and mobile home), or the purchase and/or use of other services that are offered by Camping La Pineda de Salou, a public camp site, classified as 2nd category, núm. RTC: KT-000085-84, owned by Gamite, S.A, with company registered office at La Pineda – Vila-seca (Tarragona), Ctra. de la Costa Tarragona to Salou, Km. 5, a company entered in the Companies Register of Tarragona, Volume 897, Folio 147, Page T6062, and Tax Identification Code A-08219735 (hereinafter the Camp Site), Tel. 977373080 and Fax 977373081. The terms «client» and «user» are used herein in order to make reference to all the individuals and/or entities which for any reason have access to the camp site web pages www.campinglapineda.com, www.lapineda.com and www.bungalowslapineda.com, or that utilise the services of contracting and reservation of the accommodation and installations on offer at the Camping La Pineda de Salou.
1.2.- Use of these services implies full acceptance, without reservation, of the validity of each and every one of the terms and/or General Conditions contained in the last updated version of the Terms and/or General Conditions published in the Camp Site web pages and Price list displayed on the Reception Office notice board, which are automatically considered to be included in the admittance and Registration Sheet of the Camp Site or in the contract signed, without the requirement that they be written therein. For this reason, the bearer of the reservation and/or invoice should consult the applicable rates and the terms and conditions of this page prior to accessing and/or using the services.

2.- Use of the Services 
2.1.- Clients undertake to use the facilities in accordance with the terms of these Conditions of Contracting and in accordance with the law and with good practice and public order requirements. Accordingly, they are bound not to utilise the accommodation and services for unlawful purposes or effects or in a manner contrary to that set out in these Terms and/or General Conditions of contracting, or that may be detrimental to the rights and/or interests of third parties or which, in any way, could damage the facilities and services of the Camp Site or the image thereof. The holder of the invoice and/or legal representative will be responsible for the acts committed by their children or persons under the age of 18 enrolled during your stay at the campsite. If you have access to the accommodation and facilities with a camper van or motor vehicle the driver and/or owner must provide and have the corresponding license of movement, the compulsory insurance for vehicles that sets the current legislation and policy of insurance in force to cover the damage resulting from climate and extraordinary expenses of the authorized vehicle to spend the night in the camping. We do not accept dogs from 2 to 24 August.
2.2.- Usurious people and/or housed in the Camping site they should exhibit the corresponding Receipt of Entrance, and/or Card of Identification at the request of the personnel of the Camping site or in the acces control, and observe the Internal Procedural Regulations that regulate the rights and duties of clients. Also respect especially road safety rules and signs of circulation of vehicles from the Campsite, the silence hours at night and the collection and sorting of waste, among other things, designed to prevent accidents, favor coexistence and quality of service. The General Rules and individual provisions are displayed at the Reception Office.
2.3.- The Management may close areas and facilities of the Camp Site without prior notice in the instance of force majeure, unforeseen or inevitable events or on the basis of occupation. It may also unilaterally change the services provided or the operational and technical conditions or the conditions of use of the services and facilities at any time for the benefit of the users or when there are justifiable reasons. Likewise, in order to improve the service and establish an optimum level of quality, users can email any suggestions for changes they deem appropriate to the Camp Site supervisors at admon@campinglapineda.com.
2.4.- The client and/or user declares that he/ she is of legal age (18 years old) and enjoys the necessary legal capacity to contract the products and services that the Camp Site provides in all of the sales and/or distribution channels. All the information that the client and/or user provides to the Camp Site in order to formalise their inscription and registration, reservation of places or to utilise the web sites of the Camp Site shall be truthful, accurate and complete.

2.5.- The reservation of a pitch or a camping accommodation is made strictly personal; Under no circumstances is it possible to rent an accommodation or transfer the reservation without the express written consent of the camping address. Children must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. All reservations for more than 2 accommodations made by the same natural person or by different natural persons but known, traveling together and with the same motivations, and during the same dates are considered group.
All accommodations marketed by any channel are aimed exclusively at individual clients.
For group reservations, you must always get in touch, 14 days before the day of arrival, by phone or email with the Reception and Customer Service Department. The campsite reserves the right to study the reservation request before accepting or rejecting it.

3.- Camp Site 
3.1.- The number of camp site places (plots) that can be reserved per day is limited, so we recommend that reservations be made as early as possible. No pet will be accepted of a species that is considered potentially dangerous or that is not a domestic animal. They must be permanently tied up and can never be alone, whereby the owner is liable for any disturbance or damage they may cause. The owner will register and submit to reception any government and health services documentation as set out in the legislation in force (L.10/1999 of 30-07-99).
3.2.- Once the reservation has been received and the relevant payment and deposit accepted, we will confirm this in writing or by e-mail. This confirmation is proof of the reservation made and must be presented on the day of arrival. The amount received as a payment and deposit for the reservation is considered to be delivered on account for the full amount of the stay at the Camp Site, that is to say, IT WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE TOTAL TO BE PAID as per the Camp Site invoice, once bank and administration costs have been deducted where applicable.
3.3.- The plot reserved will be at the disposal of the client from 12 midday and clients must leave the camp site before 12 midday- late departure will incur a charge to the sum payable for 1 additional day. The reservation will be kept until 10pm on the expected day of arrival.
3.4.- Where clients arrive after the contracted date of entry (always upon giving prior notification to the Reception Department), and/or depart prior to the date contracted or reserved, the whole of the stay stated in the reservation confirmation and/or entry receipt shall be payable. Consequently with the tariff to forfait and in the promotions the client will have to pay the invoice corresponding to the totality of the contracted or reserved stay.
3.5.- The entry and departure dates stipulated in the reservation confirmation and/or entry receipt cannot be changed or reimbursed with the tariff to forfait and in the promotions. No refunds/discounts by inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
3.6.- Each plot can be occupied by a maximum of six people and caravans and trailers of over 5.5m in length can only be parked in central area plots that are of suitable dimensions and size for the caravan or trailer to remain within the borders of the plot. In the movement of vehicles over 2.50 meters in height the driver shall take the necessary precautions to avoid collisions or other accidents and to access to or exit from the plot assigned to circulate in the side road to the left and right of the entrance to the campsite.
3.7.- No advance reservations for a stay of less than 3 nights are accepted in High Season. In the Mid-Season the minimum is 2 nights and 1 nights in the rest of the seasons, other than for Promotions, Extended Public Holidays and Special Events.
3.8.- It will not be possible to reserve a particular plot at the Camp Site, it will only be due to specify the type of plot (parcel) and if it is for a tent, caravan or motorhome. The camping area is allocated by the Camp Site Administration on the day of arrival.
3.9.- The client and/or bearer of the reservation should provide his/ her identity documentation and that of those accompanying him/ her. Valid National Identity Documents or passports shall be presented and the documents necessary for the inscription and registration thereof shall then be signed. All clients lodging at the Camp Site are deemed to understand and accept the General Conditions of Contracting and the Internal Rules of the Camp Site which are on display at the Reception Office.

4.- Bungalows and Mobile Homes 
4.1.- The price per night covers all the people stated in the reservation confirmation and parking for one car. A corresponding supplement will have to be paid for all extra vehicles.
4.2.- The number of people (including children) staying in each type of accommodation must not exceed the stated maximum capacity for that type of accommodation. No dogs or other animals are allowed.
4.3.- The accommodation reserved will be available after 4 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure the accommodation should be vacated before 10 am. Late departure will result in an extra charge for 1 additional day. Where clients fail to present themselves before 10pm on the day of arrival, the Management reserves the right to cancel and use the deposit received as payment for administration and cancellation costs.
4.4.- In the event of arrival after the contracted entry date (and always giving prior notification to the Reception Department), and/or departure prior to the contracted or reserved date, the whole of the stay stated in the reservation confirmation and/or the entry receipt shall be payable. Consequently with the tariff to forfait and in the promotions the client will have to pay the invoice corresponding to the totality of the contracted or reserved stay.
4.5.- A deposit of 100 euros is payable on arrival at the Campsite. This is a guarantee bond for any possible damages that may arise. This deposit will be returned once the condition and existence of all the equipment of accommodation occupied in the 48 hours following the day of departure. On arrival the bungalow will be clean. It should be left in perfect condition on departure. The final cleaning of the bungalow is not included in the price, and where clients fail to do this a fee of 30 euros will be charged.
4.6.- Once the reservation has been received and the relevant payment and deposit accepted, we will confirm this in writing or by e-mail. This confirmation must be presented on the day of arrival and it constitutes the receipt for the reservation made. The sum received as payment and deposit for the reservation is considered to be an amount delivered on account of the total sum for the stay, that is to say, IT WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE TOTAL OF THE INVOICE TO BE PAID, once bank and administration costs have been deducted where applicable.
4.7.- The minimum stay in High season (31-07 / 25-08) is of 3 nights for the types A, B2 and C1, and of 2 or 3 nights for the types B1, C2 and C5; of 4 of afternoon (check in time is 4 p.m.) to 10 in the morning (check out time is 10 a.m.). In Half season and Easter Week a minimum of 2 or 3 nights according to type of bungalow and the rest of seasons: 1 or 2 nights, except Local Parties, Events and Promotions.
4.8.- The entry and departure dates stipulated in the reservation confirmation and/or entry receipt cannot be changed or reimbursed with the tariff to forfait and in the promotions. No refunds/discounts by inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
4.9.- The client and/or bearer of the reservation should provide his/ her identity documentation and that of those accompanying him/ her. Valid National Identity Documents or passports shall be presented and the documents necessary for the inscription and registration thereof shall then be signed. All clients lodging at the Camp Site are deemed to understand and accept the General Conditions of Contracting and the Internal Rules of the Camp Site on display at the Reception Office. The sketch map and description of the different models of bungalows and mobile homes does not constitute a contractual document.

5.- Form of Payment 
5.1.- The bearer of the reservation and/or invoice undertakes to pay the full amount of the invoice relating to the reserved or contracted period on the day of arrival, at the time of formalising his/ her entry at Reception.

6.- Changing, Cancelling Reservations and Returns 
6.1.- The entry and departure dates stipulated in the reservation and/or entry receipt cannot be changed or reimbursed. Clients should always check the reservation confirmation e-mail and, in the event of an error being spotted, the user must report this to the Camp Site and the Reception Department within 48 hours, so that this can be corrected as soon as possible. Any change or modification of a reservation is subject to a charge of 15€ to cover administration costs. All reservations will be confirmed in writing and by e-mail once the amount of the reservation fee has been received within the period laid down. In the contrary case, the camp site reserves the right to cancel the reservation without prior notice.
6.2.- A reduction in the number of nights, a change in the type pf accommodation or a change in accommodation type are also deemed cancellations.
6.3.- Cancellation of reservations must always be made in writing (fax 977373081) or by e-mail to clp@campinglapineda.com stating the name of the person holding the reservation, the confirmation date and the reservation number, the period reserved and bank details or credit card number (if the payment was made by credit card) of the person holding the reservation, so that the refund can be processed. Cancellations and reimbursements will always be processed by means of a bank transfer to the holder’s account, with a charge of 30€ for administration costs. Refunds will be made within 3 business days following the date of acceptance and confirmation of the cancellation or refund by crediting the credit card or bank transfer of the holder.
6.4.- 100% of the reservation fee shall be refunded where reservation cancellations are requested with a notice period of more than 4 days from the date of arrival, with a charge of 30€ being applied as compensation for administration costs. No refund or compensation will be applied to Non-Refundable reservations.
6.5.- Reservation cancellations requested with a notice period of less than 5 days from the arrival date stipulated in the reservation will entail a loss of 100% of the sum paid.
6.6.- Failure to occupy a reserved and/or contracted plot, bungalow or mobile home will lead to a 100% loss of the sum paid.

7.- Right to Amend the Terms and General Conditions of Contracting 
7.1.- The Camp Site reserves the right to update the information about offers, prices, products, services and any other relevant data and make changes to our web page at any time, as well as to these General Conditions, in the manner that it deems appropriate, informing the users of the modifications made through the Camp Site web sites and the Reception Office notice board.

8.- Right of Ownership, Liability and Links, 
8.1.- All the contents of the web sites www.campinglapineda.com and www.bungalowslapineda.com,  including but not restricted to the presentation of products and services, texts, images, trademarks, logos, software file, colour combinations, as well as the structure and description of their contents) are the property of Gamite, S.A. or of its supplier and are protected by national and international regulations governing intellectual property.
8.2.- The Camp Site does not guarantee the continuity of the web sites, or that the same are operational and available at all times.
8.3.- The Camp Site is not liable for direct or indirect damages, including damages to computing systems and the introduction of existing viruses onto the network, deriving from the Internet navigation necessary for the use of web sites.
8.4.-The inclusion of links to other web sites does not imply that the Camp Site promotes, warrants or guarantees any such web site. The links included on the Camp Site web pages are provided for information purposes only without any class of assessment about the content, owners or services and products offered thereon nor is the Camp Site liable for the content of same.

9.- Applicable law and competent jurisdiction 
9.1.- Any dispute arising from the interpretation or enforcement of these General Contracting and Reservation Conditions or from the relationship between the user and the Camp Site shall be interpreted under Spanish legislation and all clients shall submit to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Tarragona capital with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
